Ron’s 69 AMX

Ron has been Building this Amx for a short time. He brought it in for us to do the cage in it for him. He runs several road courses in his 65 Mustang and is building this one to out perform the 65. The Amx will be powered by a LS6 engine and a 6 speed trans. With the full floater Dana rear and a huge Spohn torque are to help keep it planted. On top of that are the huge C6 Corvette 335/30/19 Rim and tires on the front and back.

Steve Porter’s 70 Nova

Steve brought us his 70 Nova for some winter upgrades consting of a upgrade to a 10pt cage, parachute and new Wilwood front and rear disk brakes. We also relocated his battery cut off switch and will be putting some new paint on the cage.

Brandon Madison Mustang GT

Just finished up Brandon’s GT. Outfitted with Full TeamZ rear suspension, strange rear coil overs, Mini tubs and finished off the trunk area to still use the stock tank. The upper and lower control arm mounting points were welded up and new custom torque boxes installed along with a new lower radiator support and mount the aluminum radiator. This car is soon to be getting a LS motor with single turbo. We will be getting the car back shortly to narrow the rear end and install a 10 Point C/M rollcage.

Brian Mungul’s 72 Nova

We are starting off Brians project with a Steve Schmidt 598 BBC followed by a Dynamic TH-400 trans and converter. Some major upgrades are in order to help the car support the HP upgrade from the original small block that was in the car. The original subframe was repaired numerous times so we decided to stay with the original style subframe which is available from Ground Up and modify it with custom center, rack and pinion, and TRZ tubular control arms. Also in the mix is a custom set of Lemons headers, Motor plate and mid plate, custom trans crossmember with new CA chassis works ladder bar setup. To top it off we will be doing custom subframe connectors and a 10 point C/M roll cage. Check back soon for updates and more pictures.

Marcus Thompson X275 car

Marcus’s car is in for some upgrades before the 2012 X275 season starts. We removed the roll cage that was in the car which consisted of a 8pt 1 3/4 roll bar that was upgraded to a 10 pt. We will be installing a 25.5 C/M cage, new parachute mount among some other odds and ends.

Now things have changed up a bit, with the decision to remove the front end from the shock towers forward and remove all the exixting wiring, we will be helping Marcus Finish the car so it will make it to SGMP for Redemption III. Here are pics of the project from the start of the build to current. Check back frequently for updates.
